Peter Varley
Peter has experience in a broad range of corporate finance services and has advised
private and public companies in a number of diverse sectors. Peter has worked on
a number of cross border transactions, including: USA,China and Russia.
Peter's specialities include: due diligence and investigation services, pre lending
and viability reviews for banks, pre investment due diligence for financial institutions
and assignments for different government departments. This experience has included
Reporting Accountant responsibilities on a number of transactions including IPOs
on the Official List of the London Stock Exchange, AIM and other public markets
plus transaction support on acquisitions, reverse takeovers and other public circulars.
Dr. Amir Farman-Farma
Amir started his career in the hedge fund industry in 1993 as a Consultant to Enigma
Investments, the Geneva-based affiliate of Headstart. He was previously a Director
of Fortune Asset Management Ltd., a leading, London-based alternative investment
management firm.
Amir is a Founding Board Member of the Iranian American Political Action Committee.
Amir is also a Board Member of the Near East Foundation, the Flora Family Foundation
and Member of The Synergos Institute, which are all long-standing, US-based philanthropies.
Amir received his B.A. (honours) in 1986 from Harvard University in History and
Economics and gained his D.Phil. (Ph.D) in 1991 from St. Antony's College, Oxford
University, in Politics. He was elected 'Global leader of Tomorrow' at World Economic
Forum, Davos (1994).
Robert Fenner
Robert is a qualified solicitor and specialises in private equity, corporate finance
and M&A. He has acted for many years for public and private companies and brokers
on IPOs and secondary issues and has transactional experience in natural resources,
software and technology, financial services, insurance, business services and training
and education.
Robert is a graduate of Trinity College, Cambridge and has been recommended in the
Legal 500 for M&A.
Jonathan Morris
Jonathan is an experienced corporate lawyer, specialising in advising on private
company M&A and small and mid cap-market public company work. He regularly advises
on domestic and international AIM IPOs and secondary fund raisings and public offers
acting for both issuers and Nomad/brokers. He also advises on structuring pre-IPO
fund raisings, group reorganisations and joint ventures.
Jonathan's recent work includes a multi million dollar acquisition of a commodity
trading business and a private equity fundraising for a large technology company.
